Electronics & Communication Lab

In this lab we have all the required equipments, instruments, Integrated Circuit chips (ICs) and all other components to carry out the experiments as per the syllabus as well as a few experiments beyond the syllabus regarding basic communication systems and electronic circuits. Communication engineering laboratory focuses on training the students in both analog and digital transmission/reception.

Digital Electronics & Microprocessor Lab

This lab gives the students an opportunity to enhance their understanding of digital electronics. Emphasis is placed on Boolean algebra, logic families, medium scale integration (MSI) and large scale integration (LSI) circuits, analog to digital (AD) and digital to analog (DA) conversion, and other related topics. Upon completion students should be able to demonstrate a general understanding of digital fundamentals. This lab has both 8085, 8086 and various other microcontrollers chip in sufficient numbers and various interfacing devices like 8253, 8255, ADC and DAC reader card, EPROM program and EPROM eraser.

Computer Hardware & Networking Lab

This lab helps the students to learn about the basics of computer hardware and networking system. They will learn to assemble and repair desktop PC with all its internal components, install different types of operating system and configure different types of printer, plotter, and scanner and troubleshoots its faults. The students will learn to setup and configure networking system using various network devices using crimping, punching, setting IP addressing techniques. They are able to share and control resource and internet connection over network, learn to secure networking system from different types of attacks. They also learn to install and configure Windows and Linux server

VLSI and Embedded Systems Lab

The VLSI and Embedded Systems Lab provide all the hardware and software resources useful for laboratory experiments and project activities related to various core and elective courses. It is specially designed and developed for the students to study the architecture of AVR microcontroller using assembly language and Development of application using C language. The lab is well equipped with AVR studio 5 software, Xilinx ISE Design suite, Mimas V2- Spartan6 FPGA board for embedded system development. At the end of course students will handle AVR based embedded system development for various applications. This lab provides resources to build real time embedded system and working with various protocols.
